Artificial Respiration
How To Give Artificial Respiration
  1. First check for voluntary breathing.
  2. Place pet on it's chest, hold jaws closed with one hand.
  3. Place your mouth over the nostrils.
  4. Blow a breath into the nostrils steadily for 2-3 seconds. The amount of air you blow inshould be enough to expand the rib cage.
  5. Remove your mouth and allow air to exit the lungs.
  6. If your pet begins to vomit, elevate your pets hind quarters above the level of the headto assist drainage.
  7. Immediately go to the veterinarian!
